I'm in the process of starting my resume and cover letter for job hunting. I honestly don't know if I'm doing this right, but might as well give it a try right? I mean, I'm attending the job fair at FIDM on October 4th when I start school, so it's pretty exciting.

I'm really excited for school to start as time is coming closer. The anticipation is greater because all my friends are now in college and I'm eager to start as well. It would've been awesome to have experienced the regular college dorm life kind of thing, but I'm kind of glad I didn't. As I asked friends who attend Riverside, UCLA, UCSB and even Irvine all told me that they really miss home already. Don't get me wrong, they love college; but LA is the best.

I really really really really have been wanting to go to an aquarium recently. Actually it's not even recently, it's more like all summer and a little before that. Not just any ol' one, but one of those amazing ones where they have huge, big tanks of colorful fishes and sharks; schools of them. Oh and jellyfishes of course! They're the best and I want you to take me there... now!

All eyes are on Jeremy Scott as his new collection of Spring/Summer approaches. But this collection, it's a perfect mash up of red lips, winged cat eye liner, pin curls and definitely leather. It's something new you can add accents of for Spring/Summer actually.

I'm absolutely in love with these cat eye winged shades. It's different and unique, yet its wearable. It totally goes with the whole look. It's also a collision of a angel wing tattoo and round circle glasses. Love it!

When can you go wrong with prints? It can be 'in' season any time and anywhere.

I love how a wrap is used and belted as a poncho top type of thing. Interesting.

I recently purchased this exact motorcycle, black and sexy heels. They're perfect and comfy.

Can't wait 'till I get to rock it around.

It's so sad to see all my friends leave for college. They're all busy packing all their stuff and mostly they're just super excited for what college holds for them. They'll make new friends, live with different people in a different environment, party like a mother and most definitely change. But I know it'll be a good change, they'll grow and mature through the whole experience. I let them go with a good feel for sure. Especially to my girls, be careful of boys who just want... Be smart and work for your dreams and what you really want in college.

Don't take your eyes off the prize.

Don't just study, but party hard too; well that's an obvi. right? I know I won't have to worry about that field. I'll miss you guys so much and even though it's not like you guys are going so far far far away, it's gonna be different. Like I know you wont' be able to be there for me (or vice versa, I won't be there for you) at like 3 AM when and if something happens and we need a cuddle buddy to eat ice cream with and vent like a mother. You know what I mean right?

I won't find another you guys. You girls will always be my rock.

I love you girls/guys so much and I'm excited for what the future holds for you. I'm like a mother goose letting her babies go off into their own world. I laugh at this. I'm dying right now.

I hope everyone is enjoying Fashion Week? Even though I'm a huge fan of Fall/Winter, this Spring/Summer shows have blown me away. Obviously I'm a big fan of black, but ditching the blacks for a little while isn't that bad. The nudes with hints and splashes of colors, the whites, the flowing and bagginess of the pieces. It let's me know why I'm in love with Fashion.

Alexander's collection for Spring/Summer 2011 was anything but usual. He (just like me) ditched the black palette for something more light with some over-sized silks and some separate knits. But he was still loyal to ALEXANDER WANG with the norms of his amazing collections of shoes and motorcycle jackets.

Since I've been slothing around these days, enjoying the lasts of summer, I've been watching Korean TV shows such as 'We Got Married' with Jo Kwon and Son Ga In. I've actually been obsessed. They're officially my favorite couple ever. I never thought I'd be so into these Korean TV shows, but trust me and watch. It's the best, and plus you get to kill time massively with sleepless nights! Here is there photo-shoot pictures from In Style Wedding issue; it was shot in Bali. I'm gonna go there for a honeymoon with the boy. Haaaaay!

I've been interning for a stylist for years now, Mark Auria. He's amazing, Google him!

We've been having a week of photo-shoot for a book that's gonna be published about turning Knits into High-Fashion.

Day 1

Red Dodge the makeup-artist is amazing too. I met so many cool people within these shoots. But seriously, she's amazing and works wonders. She has an amazing personality, style and tats.

Where we were shooting was beautiful. In the Pacific Palisades it is.

Yup! Not just one, but two of them. It was tough working with kids, but it was also a lot of fun. Dressed them up in little tutus and let them have fun! They were adorable.

YOU'RE MORE THAN JUST AN OPTION

I've been super M.I.A. with blogging and I'm terribly sorry about that. But there's just been so much going on especially after traveling to Korea and Hong Kong. I barley settled in and it's definitely much of a better environment than when I first got home from the motherland.

But Korea and Hong Kong this summer was amazing. It was more than I had expected and I had so much fun with the friends that were in Korea/Hong Kong from LA and just family fun as well. Memories were definitely made and will be remembered forever! It was all about partying, shopping, eating, eating, eating and some more shopping and partying.

That's literally the summary of my trip. I had an amazing time experiencing new things and loved the whole 'ethnic' vibe of Asia.

But honestly, I missed the west side too much. The weather is amazing here and you won't notice it 'till you're in humid, hot, sticky weather for a month and back here. You will thank God for the wind and the cool summer nights. I can't do this going away for months any more. It's just too much for now; too much.

I'm gonna travel around the world one day. Russia, Paris, Italy, India, Amsterdam, Sweden, Japan and that's all I can think of for now. But it's gonna be me, my camera, food, fashion and blogging about these places and what it holds.

Yeah, that's right. I've been listening to Jay Z, Usher and even some Drake. The boy made me a playlist 'chillow' and it consists of a variety of Hip Hop/R&B, dub-step, Pink Martini and it's just been the stuff I'm listening to.

What have I been up to? I've been trying to keep up with the World Cup. Yes, I indeed went to one of those crazy Korean rallies which was held at Radio Korea along with a 2-0 Korea win against Greece. We did impressively well and according to Mr. Park Ji Sung, he didn't even try that game. I'm smelling a definite win against Argentina on Thursday morning, even though they have one of the best players in FIFA right now; Lionel Messi. Oh and Netherlands took the 2-0 win this morning against Denmark.

Let's go Korea, Netherlands, Germany and England!!!

This is totally off subject, but Yoann Gourcuff is a definite eye candy!

So damn sexy.

Summer vacation is coming up and it'll be the one summer where I'll have absolutely nothing to worry about (as in school stuff). Korea, Hong Kong, beach days/nights, parties, graduation, date nights, soccer (to tone up and because I miss it so much!) and photo shoots are coming up! So much is in store, and I'm stoked.

I'm just really happy where I am right now.

I've got to say, Alexander Wang's Resort 2011 Collection is quite spectacular. Take a look at it for yourself and have the guts to tell me it's not amazing. I'd cop these pieces and mix and match them with the vintage collection I already have in my closet, not that I have a lot.

I love his designs because of how classic everything can be, yet it's modern; it's "style-ish".

Oh and don't let me get started on his craftsmanship. It gives me the chills every single time.

Oh and Dsquared2 have these skeleton heels out. They're simply Shoe Porn.

I won't miss you high school.

I feel like people over exaggerate when they whine and cry saying they're really gonna miss friends and teachers from high school. I was talking with the boy, and he made me realize how this whole blog thing got to be a part of my life. It's kind of crazy to see how far I've gone with it, started in like '08 and just looking back it made me realize how much I've changed and matured. It made me notice the difference in what mattered back then and doesn't matter any more, how big of a problem some things might have seemed but in reality it's not even a big deal. But it just kind of makes me giggle, like I wish I had a another 'me' back then to just tell me to sit back and relax. Someone to just let me know that everything will be alright.

It also made me realize how much I've changed with my knowledge in the world of Fashion and not just Fashion, but my style. Fashion is continuously changing, but style? It can evolve, but it'll always stick with you. It's your style.

These two are my ultimate favorite 'fictional' couples of television. Though Sex and the City is my favorite TV show, I'm not being bias. I've watched many many many films and nope, nothing beats it like some Carrie and Big.

Yes, this post might just be up because this Thursday the new Sex and the City movie sequel is coming out, and because I'm going out on a girls night out with my gals of course. But they're love captivated on film always and forever will give me butterflies in my stomach.

No matter what, Carrie and Big will end up with each other. Despite the roller coaster ride they've been on with their emotions and such, their love for each other will never fade.

They'll end up running back to one another at the end of the story and that's that.

I'm into this whole loose blouse thing (if there is such a "thing").

The whole "toss on a see though white blouse" thing. It's genius if you pair it with a lacy black bra. Love it!

Leather, leather, leather. I've just really been into this whole breaking the rules and using leather to not only create the classic leather jackets, but to maneuver that and create the unthinkable. I've actually took leather recently (though it's quite expensive) and made littles bits and bobs with it. It's an interesting medium to work with and it's quite different than regular fabric.

But I love how Alexander Wang had rejuvenated the whole leather theme and now it's everywhere. Though he's just a young and beginning designer, he's a revolutionist...

Please tell me you've been reppin' that purple and gold. Please...

So Andrew Kim invited us over to his "bachelor pad" and we had ourselves a mini Lakers Party. Andrew and Robin obviously called them the "Fakers", because they were cheering on the loosing team (Suns). But it was a success with Thai BBQ and some desert Audrey made us.

So I simply got out my paper and pen (literally) and started this. It was finally time for an interview with Phillip Yang. He's not only an inspiration for the art I create, but such a dear friend whom I've known for... too long.

Here you go and hope you enjoy this.

Before anything even got started, we had to pick a place for this interview to happen. It's not formal or anything, so we went by the auditorium stairs right after lunch, during seventh, before my mother picked me up and we got to it right away.

"Wow looks so legit..."

Where/what do you get most of your inspirations from for art?

"Honestly, I get them from all over. Blogs such as Bobby Hundred's and Foreign Family's blog. I also love going to museums such as LACMA and go straight to the contemporary art section. It's weird, but I look through the pieces and read the descriptions and ideas just flow to my head.

What type of Art are you into anyways?

"Definitely Street Art."

How'd you get into it?

"My friends started to tag and I just simply got inspired by that. Also through painting classes at school, using the different tools and most definitely Mr. Slattery's painting class last year with you, Taylor and Elisha."

"That's so cool, because I think that class really did both help and inspire me to go further with art and such. It was the most amazing class ever, and I never looked forwards so much to a class before. I agree."

Now, I know your brother Simon does car designing and takes classes at Pasadena Art Center and has been for such a time now. Does he inspire you to? If so, how?

"He does inspire me with his own unique ideas because he hand draws everything from scratch. His motivation definitely drives me to keep going and it's like I just feed off of it. Through his designing I also get ideas for the Street Art I described earlier and make connections with those two."

Who are the top 'artists' that inspire you the most? It can be musical artists, painters, sculptures, dancers, etc. Go for it.

"Dumbfounded: his album covers are all hand drawn and it's so unique. Like I said before, Foreign Family. The Hundreds and their view of Los Angeles. Piet Mondrian: his simple and modern art really inspires me to do my work like his. And, hmm your blog! Your blog is such an inspiration, you don't even know it. Like if I'm blank and I'm trying to look for ideas, my hands automatically go to your link on the web browser. It helps me with the different medias you use, from things like jewelry to dresses and Fashion, from the street to even art."

"Woah, thanks dude. You should definitely know you're one of the biggest inspirations as well. People like you are the things that really keep me going. Honestly, if it wasn't for people who actually read my stuff daily, I wouldn't be doing this right now. Thanks, it really means the world to me."

With school, volleyball, AP classes, a girlfriend and all the stuff in between, how do you pursue art? What keeps you going and how do you find time?

"I think LACES and our block schedule system really helps me out. I mean, we only have 3 classes each week. What's not to like about that? Some weekends, when I couldn't find something to do, I just paint. If I don't have time I make time. I don't hang out with my friends and do art at home. Time management is key. Especially with volley ball it's so hard, but one point in my life I'm gonna burn out and take years to recover. *chuckles* "

Now that you're in Otis, what's gonna happen now?

"I mean, I finally found something I'm good at, so I'm gonna try my best to pursue it. I'm also gonna major in Architecture. When I was a kid I liked the nice horizon against the canvas of the sky in Downtown LA. I remember I'd look out to the Wilshire buildings from my house and thought they were really cool. I'm also really looking forward to working with professional teachers, because in high school honestly you're just feeding off of your talent and winging it, but in college I actually want to learn art. After Otis, maybe a masters degree in 5 years? I might go studying abroad to France or Italy, that sounds good. Then I'm gonna work with Samuel Kim (our school's valedictorian) and open up a firm."

When did you know for sure you wanted to do art as your career?

"Honestly, when I was a kid I hated art. I wanted to like become a chef or be in the military and it was never art related. My family was all really talented in that field but I thought I never was. I think the 'Burning Buildings' project in Mr. Slattery's class last year really got to me. He told me that I was really talented and that I should go towards it. It really hit me and took some time to figure it out."

What's in store for the summer or 2010?

"Spending time with the girlfriend as much as I can. We want memories we can cherish so that when we go to college it would be like we never left each other in the first place. Family and maybe some partying. We'll see. I'm gonna miss high school though, books in hand running down the hallways trying not to be caught in the tardy sweep, teachers, no no no no! Not teachers. Like first school dances, definitely Rice Breakers, my locker, and especially the colorful buildings."

My favorite part of all Fashion Shows (no matter how much I love the pieces) is the designer's applaud the crowd gives him/her, and their content face as they come and get the credits for what they've created. The best feeling ever and yes, I've experienced it!

Sophia and I did a collaboration on a painting assignment called 'Art Against Protest'. It's simply a movement where artists use their creativity with whatever media to protest against what they truly support.

We did our project on preventing forest fires. It might seem vague at first, but because we show the fire happening within the collage we created, we thought it would help to see the beauty of wanting to prevent the fires within the forests.

Yeah, I suck at explaining stuff like this.

This is a not so good oil painting I did few months back. It was indeed of my prom dress from last year. In that studio room, I had nothing to paint of as a reference. I simply brought in the most gorgeous dress I have and got to work right away. I used oil on canvas and it was actually my first time using oil. I love the colors and how much they contrast with the background. The chair was the hardest part. I love everything about this painting, even though it's not much; only I know what went into my pieces.

Maybe it's time for a Birthday Wish List perhaps?

So I had a meeting at FIDM about Scholarships, acceptance, and just general stuff and I visited one of the only two Perfume Museums in the world (at this time). It was short/small/cute. I loved that they had a variety of perfumes, from Channel to Dior.

My mother was there as well.

Dior's original sketches, which were (if I heard correctly) donated by JC Penny to FIDM.

FIDM by the way, is so much more than I expected. The campus and location is beautiful and it's in the heart of downtown. I loved it.

Fashion Toast

I watched this Jay-Z collaboration with Absolute Vodka video on a friend's wall-post, and it really inspired me as as an artist in general. I wondered how much more it would inspire a musician. I don't know so much about hip-hop, but as a 90's kid that Jay-Z makes real hip-hop.

"The fit has to be organic and natural, and that's when it works best.

You can't make art with business in mind. You have to make art first.

So you have to make music out of passion and then figure out how to be a business man after that."
